FANCA Honduras celebrates its National Assembly

With the participation of more than 70 members of FANCA, representing the Water Boards, NGOs and environmental associations from all regions of Honduras, and in an atmosphere of great camaraderie, held the National Assembly of FANCA - Honduras, 21 and 22 November in Nacaome Department of Valle.

The event ratified FUPNAPIB AHJASA's role as focal point in the country and also updated Honduran members on different FANCA processes developed in the region. Decisions were also taken on the draft Global Transparency Fund (GTF).

Andres Mora coordinated a communications workshop, training participants on how to create a communications strategy for social organizations and how to maximize resources.

The event presented typical cultural activities in the area, such as dances, songs and poetry which pleased the enthusiastic participants.

In previous weeks, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Guatemala also held their national assemblies.
