FAN participates in UN Commission on Sustainable Development 2008

UN CSD–16 Water and sanitation review took place in New York in May 2008. Danielle Morley, Jamillah Mwanjisi and Nathalie Seguin, coordinators of FAN, ANEW and FAN-Mex represented the networks and actively participated in events relating to the two-day watsan review.

FAN attracts new financial resources

14 FAN members in Africa, Asia and Central America have won funding from the UK Government to strengthen southern civil society actors to engage with policy makers and governments in their countries.  This exciting new development will help to strengthen the network over a five year period.

World Bank - CSO Scoping Study on dialogue

Between February and October 2007, Freshwater Action Network (FAN) conducted a scoping study with the World Bank about developing feasible activities for dialogue on urban water supply and sanitation. Public World, the consultants who conducted the study have written a commentary about the experience so far, it's lessons and recommendations for next steps.
