Stockholm Water Week

World Water Week is a global meeting place for capacity-building, partnership-building and follow-up on the implementation of international processes and programmes in water and development. 

It takes place every August in Stockholm, Sweden.

EU Water Initiative (EUWI) sessions


ANEW was represented by Prof. Edward Kairu (ANEW Chair) and Patrick Apoya (CONIWAS Ghana). Prof. Kairu made a presentation during the Africa-EU Infrastructure Partnership session on African civil society’s involvement in the planning and development of water infrastructure.

During the Multi Stakeholder Forum, representatives from African Ministers Council on Water (AMCOW) confirmed their commitment to work with African CSOs on the African component through ANEW.
