New 2010 WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme report

The new 2010 WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme report gives an overview of which countries are on-track or off-track for the water and sanitation MDGs and a current assessment of access to water and sanitation in every country in the world. Will water and sanitation services be able to withstand climate change?
WHO has just published a report from a study jointly funded with DFID on the resilience of water and sanitation services to climate changes expected by 2020 and 2030. The Vision 2030 study is the first global assessment of potential resilience in the sector and shows that much more needs to be done to improve planning in the light of climate change. WES Resource Center website new features

Two new features into the website: WES ResourceCenter and List Serve. The WES Resource Center provides opportunity for members to create page on the WES Net India website with their organization logo. Subscribing for the list serve will give an option to the members to select or deselect the services they would like to hear about by emails email. The members can also post details regarding vacancy, event, training details and press release. Added in March
