FANSA Bangladesh to focus on reaching the excluded

In December, FANSA Bangladesh convened to discuss on the national action plan at the office of Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM), Dhaka. Going forward, the network have decided to focus on excluded groups in hard to reach areas and consider the climate change issue inclusively in the programme.

 

The steering committee meeting of FANSA Bangladesh revised its budget and the action plan (Financial Year 2009-10) and agreed to discuss the Right to Water  with End Water Poverty as they had agreed in their action plan. It was also decided that the network would collaborate with WSSCC Bangladesh on World Water Day in March 2010. WSSCC Bangladesh and FANSA Bangladesh agreed to organize the national and divisional level advocacy workshop together.

 

The national meeting nominated VERC, NGO Forum and DAM to represent in the FANSA regional committee meeting to be held in Bangladesh in mid February 2010. The nominated members are Yakub Hossain, VERC, Josep Halder, NGO Forum and Umme Farwa Daisy from DAM.
