The National Association for the Defense, Development and Distribution of Water in Rural Areas (ANDAR) is participating in the Dominican Republic and Central American Forum for Drinking Water (FOCARD) project within the framework of The Water Alliance.
On 14 April 2010, they held a meeting in coordination with the representative of FOCARD-APS (Central American and Dominican Republic Forum Water and Sanitation) Engineer Nicolas Coto, President of ANDAR, Julio Menjivar and FANCA's Country Officer (Central American Network for Water Action) Engineer Claudia Fuentes.
The gathering allowed each organization to introduce themselves and express their desire to work for the needs of rural communities and witness the support of the water and sanitation administrative boards.
