Drinking water in Santa Clara El Salvador

In March, construction began on the water supply and sanitation system in Santa Clara, San Rafael Oriente, San Miguel, to deliver water to 325 families, benefiting 1,950 inhabitants in total.

 

The system will get water from an underground source, which will be transfered by pumps to a 100 m³ storage tank. 

 

The project is being implemented in coordination with the Rotary Club Chaparrastique, San Miguel with funds from Engineers Without Borders, USA with the technical support of ANDAR, the San Rafael Oriente's Mayor and the community. To date, the project has delivered 40% coverage.
