A three year capacity building programme for the African civil society network for water and sanitation (ANEW) will be completed in October 2010. This programme was jointly implemented by Freshwater Action Network (FAN) and ANEW in 16 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. The evaluation will provide an assessment of progress against the programmatic objectives and will make recommendations that support the organisational learning of FAN and ANEW for their respective future direction and growth.
This evaluation is jointly commissioned by FAN www.freshwateraction.net and ANEW www.anewafrica.net and the 17 target countries are Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, DRC, Chad, Cameroon, Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia and Malawi.
